Welcome to our new Booster Club Website!
On behalf of the entire Guilford Booster Club, I would like to extend a warm welcome to you for the upcoming 2010-2011 school year. We are excited about the year ahead of us and are anxious to implement some new initiatives that we will be discussing in the coming weeks. One of those initiatives is this, our new Booster Website! Our goal is to make this your “go-to” Booster Club resource and help you to stay connected to the Viking Nation. We offer information on our committees, volunteer and membership opportunities, upcoming events and downloadable calendars. Here you will also find information on Market Day, Alumni activities and our upgraded Booster Buzz Newsletter which will be provided in a downloadable file format. In the near future, we will also be posting photo galleries from recent events for you to enjoy.
This site is one of many new ideas that we are introducing this year as part of our Past, Present, and Future Outreach Initiative. It’s called GUILFORWARD! and in the coming year you will see some of the exciting new steps we are taking to build awareness in the community, make continued improvements to our school and surrounding campus and stay connected with each other.
Of course we have all of our usual fundraising activities and events in place for the coming year, and you can read about many of those here as well. Don’t forget to keep checking back for updated information over the course of the year.
There’s a lot to be excited about. We encourage your involvement and a positive attitude towards the Guilford community. We invite you to attend any of our many events or meetings as we keep pushing forward, always striving for excellence while improving the high school experience for students, staff and parents.
